CPU module for traceable automation
The Siemens 6AG1510-1DJ01-7AB0 CPU module supports DCP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and MODBUS TCP. I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3) is present for device-level traceability. An integrated hardware clock time-stamps events, and the module supports forcing of process image inputs and outputs – a feature that must be controlled and logged in GMP workflows. Built-in PID controllers with integrated optimization handle temperature and valve loops directly, reducing the need for external controllers.
Communication and diagnostics
Network interfaces support DCP, DNS, DHCP, LLDP, SNMP, and PROFINET IRT, as well as TCP/IP and UDP. HTTP and HTTPS serve standard and user-defined web pages for remote diagnostics. MODBUS TCP is available for integration with legacy or third-party systems. Two status LEDs (ERROR and MAINT) give immediate visual feedback. The unit measures 75 mm deep, 100 mm wide, and 117 mm high.
