CPU with conformal coating for harsh environments
SIPLUS CPU 1510SP F-1 PN, order code 6AG1510-1SK03-2AB0. This is the coated wide-temp variant of the standard 6ES7510-1SK03-0AB0, sharing identical firmware and memory: 300 KB for program, 1 MB for data, PROFINET IRT with a 3-port switch, and 25 ns bit performance. The conformal coating and -40 to +60 °C ambient range allow it to survive condensation and airborne contamination that would cause tracking failures on an uncoated PCB. For a control panel in a humid washdown zone or a cold storage facility, this is the variant that keeps the signal clean. Requires a separate SIMATIC Memory Card and a BusAdapter for each of the two ports — those are not included and must be added to the BOM.
