What this SIPLUS CPU delivers
Siemens 6AG1513-1FL01-2AB0 SIPLUS CPU rated -40 °C to 70 °C with PROFIsafe and MRP redundancy manager for up to 50 devices in a ring. Programming languages supported include LAD, FBD, STL, SCL, and GRAPH, plus failsafe extensions in LAD and FBD — the same toolchain as standard S7-1500s. Built-in DCP and IRT support, plus MODBUS TCP, UDP, and HTTP/HTTPS for web-based diagnostics.
Integration note for panel builders
Width of 35 mm on the DIN rail; depth 129 mm leaves clearance for standard 40-mm cable ducts behind the panel. The display backlight may slow below 0 °C — listed as a known caveat from Siemens, not a functional limit. PROFIBUS and PROFINET modules occupy up to 6 expansion slots via the right-side backplane. If you're packing a rack with additional CMs, account for the total current draw from the backplane — the integrated supply handles the CPU plus up to 1 A for modules.
