What the CPU delivers
The Siemens 6AG1518-3FT10-4AB0 is the SIPLUS variant of the CPU 1518F-4 PN/DP, based on the standard 6ES7518-3FT10-0AB0 but with conformal coating and a widened temperature range of 0…+60°C. It carries 18 MB work memory for program logic and 150 MB for data, with the first two interfaces each being PROFINET IRT with a 2-port switch and the third a standard Ethernet port. A SIMATIC Memory Card is required for operation.
Mounting and integration notes
Fits standard S7-1500 racks, same mechanical footprint as the base CPU. The two PROFINET IRT interfaces each provide a 2-port switch, enabling line or ring topologies without external switches. The third Ethernet port can be used for HMI or SCADA links. For safety applications, the F suffix means failsafe capable — the CPU can run safety programs up to SIL 3 / PL e when used with appropriate F-I/O. Memory card (required) not included in this order code.
