The 6AG1521-1BH50-7AA0 is a 16-channel digital input module for the S7-1200 system, wired as a sourcing input block at 24 V DC. It supports I&M data from level 0 through 3, enabling device identification within an automation network. Fast startup completes in 500 ms, meeting time-sensitive commissioning cycles. Rated signal '1' draws 4.5 mA per channel; input response is symmetrical at 3–4 ms for both transitions. The module delivers channel status via green LEDs and a RUN/ERROR LED pair on the front face. Rated isolation between circuits is 75 V DC/60 V AC, with a type test at 707 V DC. Maximum cable length is 1 000 m shielded, 600 m unshielded. Power draw is 2.8 W typical from the 24 V DC backplane bus. The module can simultaneously source all 16 inputs up to +60 °C; above that, derate to a maximum of 8 simultaneous inputs. Operating temperature range is -40 °C to +70 °C horizontally, or -40 °C to +40 °C vertically.
