32 outputs in a 35 mm slice
The 6AG1522-1BL00-7AB0 packs 32 transistor outputs into a 35 mm-wide module, each channel rated 0.5 A continuous at 24 VDC. That density means one slot handles a full cabinet row of solenoid valves or indicator lamps without needing a second module.
Switching speed and load limits
Resistive loads switch at up to 100 Hz; inductive loads drop to 0.5 Hz, and lamp loads to 10 Hz. The 0-to-1 transition takes 100 µs, the 1-to-0 transition 500 µs — fast enough for most discrete control, but not for high-speed pulse trains. Each group of outputs shares a 4 A ceiling, and the whole module draws no more than 16 A total. Clocked electronic short-circuit protection is built in — it cycles the output off and retries, so a momentary fault clears without a blown fuse.
