What it is
The 6AG1522-5HH00-7AB0 is a Siemens SIPLUS S7-1500 digital output module with 16 relay outputs. Each channel switches 2 A at 24 V DC; the module total is 32 A. DQ and MSO features are enabled. Diagnostics run to channel level, with status LEDs per output. Relay outputs give galvanic isolation between the load and the backplane — useful when driving mixed voltage groups or loads needing a wetting current. No internal short-circuit protection; plan external fusing per group.

Dimensions: 35 mm width, 129 mm depth, 147 mm height. Backplane draws 150 mA max; typical power loss 5 W; cable runs: unshielded 600 m, shielded 1 000 m. Relay contacts are current-sinking and current-sourcing. Prioritized startup and FW update possible via the backplane bus; isolation tested: between channels 2 500 V DC, between channels and backplane 2 500 V DC, L+ to backplane 707 V DC (type test).
Sourcing and lifecycle
Listed as current production — no end-of-life notice. This module is quoted to order; BOM lines can specify it without obsolescence contingency. The SIPLUS variant shares the same body and connector layout as the standard S7-1500 16DO relay module (6ES7522-5HF00-0AB0). If the panel was laid out for that standard part, this drops in without rewiring.
