SIPLUS PROFIBUS Communications Module
The 6AG1542-5DX00-7XE0: This SIPLUS version of the standard 6GK7542-5DX00-0XE0 adds conformal coating and a -40 to +70 °C ambient range (startup at -25 °C), so it handles condensing atmospheres and thermal cycling that would kill a standard PROFIBUS module. It plugs into any S7-1500 backplane and functions as a DP master or slave, with S7 and PG/OP communication, time-of-day synchronization, and diagnostics.
