That coating matters if the cabinet sits in a washdown zone, a cold warehouse, or a non-climate-controlled enclosure where condensation is a fact of life. It ships with a 128 GB CFast card that already has Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit and the S7-1500 Software Controller (CPU 1505SP) installed, plus a restore image and documentation on the same card. That means the software controller runtime is ready to go — no separate OS install or license hunt at commissioning. Interface count: one CFast slot, one SD/MMC slot, one connection for the ET 200SP BusAdapter (PROFINET), one 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and one DisplayPort.
