Derating and installation conditions
The 6AG1961-3BA21-7AX0: Rated 40 A up to +60 °C ambient; above that derate 3 % per K. At altitudes 2000–6000 m above sea level, derate output power by 7.5 % per 1000 m or reduce ambient temperature by 5 K per 1000 m. Designed for horizontal mounting with natural convection. Storage and transport range -40... +85 °C.
Status signaling and isolation
A galvanically isolated relay contact (SELV per EN 60950-1) signals OK when both input voltages exceed a switching threshold adjustable between 20... 25 V. The contact is a changeover rated 8 A at 240 V AC / 24 V DC. Two LEDs: green for 'both inputs OK', red if at least one falls below threshold.
