The Siemens 6AG1964-2AA04-7AB0 is a SIPLUS S7-400 IF 964-DP interface module with conformal coating, based on the standard 6ES7964-2AA04-0AB0 but rated for -25 to +70°C (with a 60°C ceiling for UL/ATEX/FM applications). It acts as both PROFIBUS DP master (default) and slave, supporting transmission rates up to 12 Mbit/s. Power loss is just 1 W typical, and the module draws up to 150 mA from the S7-400 backplane (with no 24 V load on the bus, that voltage is provided only to the DP interface). Dimensions are 26 mm wide, 130 mm deep, 54 mm high — a single-width S7-400 slot.
