Environmental and electrical ratings
Operating temperature spans –40 to 70 °C, covering unheated enclosures and outdoor cabinets. Supply is 24 V DC nominal with a permissible range of 20.4–28.8 V; typical power loss is 4 W. Transmission rate is configurable from 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s, so it handles both legacy DP networks and high-speed lines. IP20 protection limits the module to clean, dry indoor panels.
Mechanical and mounting
Dimensions 125 x 80 x 67.5 mm (H x W x D), about 300 g. Power is brought in via a terminal module; the PROFIBUS connection uses FastConnect insulation displacement, rated for up to 10 clamping cycles.
