The 6AG1972-0BB42-7XA0 is a SIPLUS PROFIBUS bus connector with a 35-degree angled cable outlet, screw termination for PROFIBUS cables, and an integrated PG programming socket. It connects PROFIBUS stations to the bus cable and supports transfer rates from 9.6 kbit/s up to 12 Mbit/s. The connector includes a built-in terminating resistor that is switched on or off via a slide switch, eliminating the need for a separate terminator at the end of the segment.
