What it is and what matters for your BOM
This is the Siemens 6ED1052-1CC00-0BA2 LOGO! 24 logic module — a DIN-rail mounted, pre-programmable controller with an integrated display and keypad. It runs on 24 V DC supply. The I/O count packs 8 digital inputs (two of those can be switched to analog 0-10 V mode) plus 2 dedicated analog inputs, and 4 transistor digital outputs rated for 0.3 A each at 55 °C and switching up to 10 Hz on resistive loads. Input thresholds are clearly defined: signal '0' below 5 V, signal '1' above 12 V. That gives noise immunity for dirty 24 V environments — 12 V as a '1' threshold leaves headroom above the typical 8 V no-man's-land. The wide operating temperature range of -20 °C to 70 °C makes it viable for unheated cabinets or outdoor enclosures — something the sibling LOGO! 24 units with relay outputs don't match. That alone can decide the fit for a cold-store or rooftop panel.
Mounting and wiring notes
The module measures 72 mm wide and 90 mm high. Max power loss is 0.5 W; connection accepts 1.5 mm2 1-wire or 0.5 to 2.5 mm2 finely stranded with end sleeve.
