Siemens LOGO! 230RC (6ED1052-1FB00-0BA5) is a 230 V AC/DC brick with 8 digital inputs and 4 relay outputs. Three approvals: UL, CSA, CE, plus FM and marine. Display on the front for program status and parameter tweaks without a PC. Rated 10 A resistive, 3 A inductive per relay — enough for small pumps, contactor coils, signal lamps. No internal short-circuit protection; the buyer has to supply external fusing. Ambient 0–55 °C covers most cabinets; above 55 °C you need forced air or move the module.

Mounting & wiring notes
Depth 55 mm clears shallow enclosures. Relay outputs — common wire up to 10 A; keep inductive loads under 3 A or use an external contactor. Power supply terminals accept AC or DC voltage; no polarity worry on DC. The 80 h power reserve retains the program and retentive data. External fusing is mandatory on each output channel — the relay itself isn't short-circuit proof. Use fuses appropriate for the load.
