What this LOGO! module delivers
The Siemens 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA8 is a current-production LOGO! 12/24RCE logic module. It carries 8 digital inputs and supports up to 400 function-specific blocks — enough for small-machine sequencing, lighting control, or simple pump logic. A 480-hour power reserve keeps the program and real-time clock alive when the supply drops out. Supply range is 10.8–28.8 VDC. Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail, 4 spacing units wide. IP20 enclosure for cabinet use.
What the numbers mean in the panel
The “400, Max. 400, function-specific” rating refers to the maximum number of function blocks (timers, counters, arithmetic ops, etc.) you can program. It’s a ceiling, not a recommended load — most applications use a fraction of that. The 480-hour power reserve is a real-world asset: on a machine that cycles power overnight or in a facility with transient losses, the LOGO! picks up where it left off without a cold start. No battery change needed for weeks.
