What it is and what it does
The 6ED1052-2CC01-0BA8 is a Siemens LOGO! 24CEO logic module — the transistor-output, no-display variant in the 24 V DC family. It gives you 8 digital inputs, 4 of which double as 0–10 V analog inputs, and 4 transistor outputs rated for 0.3 A per channel at full temperature (0–55 °C). The short-circuit protection on each output (electrical, 1 A) means you can run smaller loads without external fusing — a nice time-saver during commissioning if you've ever had a relay-output sibling pop a fuse on a solenoid. Onboard Ethernet brings a web server and data logging, so you can pull trend data or tweak parameters over a browser without loading the software. Memory holds 400 blocks, and the power reserve keeps the program alive for 480 hours without a battery. That's a full three weeks of brownout ride-through — useful on machines that sit idle over holiday shutdowns. Supply range 20.4–28.8 V DC. Current-production.
