What it is and what it does
The 6ED1052-2FB00-0BA3: This is the no-display version of the Siemens LOGO! 230RCO — the one you grab when the panel has an HMI already and you just need the logic engine. Eight digital inputs, four relay outputs rated 10 A resistive / 3 A inductive. Runs on 230 V AC, so no DC supply needed on site. Keeps running for 80 hours after power loss thanks to the integrated power reserve, which means a short glitch won't drop your process. Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail at 4 spacing units wide (72 mm). The 55 °C max ambient means it's happy in a warm panel — no derating needed until you hit that ceiling. Min 0 °C, so unheated plant rooms are fine.
Mounting and fit
Snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail. Four spacing units wide (72 mm), 55 mm deep, 90 mm tall. Terminal blocks are fixed — no plug-in field wiring. Plan for external fusing on the outputs; the module has no built-in short-circuit protection. The 80-hour power reserve keeps the program and retentive data safe during outages, so you don't lose setpoints when the line kicks off.
