What you're getting
This is a current-production LOGO! 24RCEO logic module – part number 6ED1052-2HB00-0BA8 – built for 24V DC or 24V AC supply. It gives you 8 digital inputs and 4 relay outputs rated 10A resistive, 3A inductive. No display, so you program it via LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 or higher. Ethernet onboard for web server and data logging, and a 480-hour power reserve keeps your program alive when the mains drops. Temperature range is 0°C to 55°C standard; if you're running the FS04 firmware version, the low end stretches to -20°C. That 55°C ceiling means it'll sit inside a hot panel without cooking. Out here in the grease, I've buried plenty of logic modules that couldn't take the heat – this one keeps ticking. Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail, 71.5 mm wide (4 spacing units). Approvals include UL, CSA, FM, Marine, CE, and VDE/IEC compliance, with Limit class B for residential area use.
Panel fitting and wiring
Snap it onto 35 mm DIN rail – four spacing units, 71.5 mm wide, 90 mm tall, 58 mm deep. No short-circuit protection built in; you'll need external fusing per the wiring diagram. Relay outputs are rated 10 A resistive, 3 A inductive – that inductive number matters if you're switching contactors or solenoids. Inputs are 24V DC/AC, 47–63 Hz. Power reserve of 480 hours ties into the internal capacitor – no battery to swap. Handy if you lose line power over a long weekend. The Ethernet port gives you a web server for remote monitoring and data logging. Programming goes through LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 or higher; older projects need conversion.
