8 inputs, 8 relay outputs, 115-230 V — the DM16 230R for LOGO!
The Siemens 6ED1055-1FB10-0BA0 is a LOGO! DM16 230R expansion module that adds 8 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs to a LOGO! base controller. The inputs accept 115 V AC, 115 V DC, 230 V AC, or 230 V DC — the signal-1 threshold is >79 V AC or >79 V DC, and signal-0 is <40 V AC or <30 V DC. The relay outputs switch up to 5 A on resistive loads or 3 A on inductive loads, with a lamp-load maximum of 1000 W at 230 V AC (500 W at 115 V AC).
DIN-rail fit and approvals for panel integration
The module snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail and occupies 4 module spaces (72 mm wide, 90 mm high, 53 mm deep). IP20 rated — intended for enclosure mounting, not wet-area exposure. Carries CE, UL, CSA, FM, and marine approvals, plus VDE 0631 compliance and IEC 61131 development. Rated for residential-class B emissions, so it can go into lightly filtered panels.
Switching speed and input draw
Input transition times: 50 ms max from 0 to 1, 125 ms max from 1 to 0 — these are not high-speed inputs, so factor the debounce into your scan cycle. Typical input current at signal-1 is 0.12 mA. The module has no short-circuit protection on the inputs; external fusing is required per the installation guidelines.
