8 AC/DC Inputs, 8 Relay Outputs in 4 SU
The Siemens 6ED1055-1FB10-0BA2 is a LOGO! DM16 230R combination module packing 8 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs into a 71.5 mm wide housing — 4 spacing units on a 35 mm DIN rail. It accepts AC or DC control voltages at both 115 V and 230 V, with a signal "1" threshold above 79 V AC or DC, and signal "0" below 40 V AC or 30 V DC.
Relay Output Ratings and Switching Limits
Each relay output handles 5 A resistive load (rated value for signal "1") and 3 A inductive load maximum. On lamp loads the limit is 1 000 W at 230 V AC, dropping to 500 W at 115 V AC. The module switches from 0 to 1 in 40 ms max, and 1 to 0 in 75 ms max — fast enough for most LOGO! logic sequences but not for high-speed counting.
Temperature Range and Approvals
Rated for 0 °C to 55 °C ambient; modules with firmware ES03 and higher extend the lower limit to -20 °C. The module carries CE, UL, CSA, FM, and marine approvals, and is developed in accordance with IEC 61131 and VDE 0631. IP20 rated — for enclosed panel use only.
