It snaps onto DIN rail EN 60715 35x7.5/15 — standard panel integration for a control cabinet. The 6.5 A rating holds up to +55 °C ambient; above that, derate 1.6%/K so at +70 °C you get 4.9 A. That derating curve matters if this sits near a drive or transformer in a warm enclosure.

Connection and protection
Input terminals (L, N, PE) are removable screw type accepting 0.5-2.5 mm². Output has one screw terminal for + and two for -. Internal fuse protection — no external fuse needed on the secondary side. On the feeder side, Siemens recommends a 16 A B-curve or 10 A C-curve MCB. Standby power draw is typical 0.4 mA, maximum 3.5 mA. The I²t value is 3 A²·s, useful for coordination checks.
