Power supply for control cabinets — 24 VDC, 14 A, wide-range input
The Siemens 6EP1323-2BA00 is a SITOP PSU8200 power supply delivering 24 VDC at 14 A from a single-phase AC input covering 85-132 V or 170-264 V (auto-ranging), 47-63 Hz. It's built for 24 V control loops in industrial panels — PLCs, I/O racks, contactor coils, and instrumentation. Rated output holds at 14 A up to +50 °C ambient; above that, derate 3.5% per Kelvin up to +70 °C. For a 60 °C cabinet, expect about 12.2 A continuous — plan the load margin accordingly. The unit snaps onto standard DIN rail EN 60715 35×7.5/15. Keep 50 mm free above and below for convection airflow — that's the clearance that avoids thermal throttling.
cULus-Listed to UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1 (file E197259), plus cCSAus to UL/CSA 60950-1 for ITE. CE and EAC marked. That covers North American and European panel builds — no extra NRTL paperwork needed for a UL 508A panel. DNV GL marine type approval is on file, so it's accepted for shipboard electrical rooms and offshore packages without a separate certification run. Safety extra-low output voltage (SELV) per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178 — the 24 VDC rail is touch-safe for dry locations.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active, quoted to order
MTBF at 40 °C is 1,614,510 hours — roughly 184 years continuous. That's calculated per Siemens reliability data; real-world field life depends on thermal cycling and load profile, but it's a solid number for a 24 V supply in a controlled environment. Recommended upstream protection: a 10 A characteristic C miniature circuit breaker in the feeder.
