The Siemens 6EP1334-2AA01 is a SITOP PSU100M power supply delivering a regulated 24 V DC output at 10 A continuous, with a rated range of 0–12 A up to +45 °C. It accepts single-phase AC input at 120 V or 230 V nominal (85–132 V / 170–264 V ranges) at 50/60 Hz. The output is safety extra-low voltage (SELV) per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178, so it's suitable for powering PLCs, I/O racks, sensors, and other control-circuit loads in an industrial panel. Mounting snaps onto standard DIN rail EN 60715 (35×7.5/15). Input and output connections use screw terminals accepting 0.5–2.5 mm² wire.
The 10 A continuous rating is the headline figure, but the rated range of 0–12 A up to +45 °C gives you headroom for short-term peaks or loads that don't exceed the thermal limit. Above +45 °C you need to derate; the unit operates up to +60 °C with natural convection. The internal fuse is a T 6.3 A / 250 V (non-accessible), so external branch protection is required — Siemens recommends a 10 A C-curve MCB in the feeder. The I²t value of 3.3 A²·s tells you the energy let-through during a fault — useful for coordinating with upstream breakers. MTBF at 40 °C is 1,460,803 hours, which translates to a long service life in a climate-controlled panel.
This unit carries CE marking, UL/cULus listing (UL 508, CSA C22.2 No. 107.1, File E197259), cCSAus (CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1, UL 60950-1, UL 1604), and EAC approval. It is not ATEX or IECEx rated, so it is not certified for explosive atmospheres. DNV GL marine approval is present, which covers shipboard and offshore installations.
Sourcing and fit considerations
The 6EP1334-2AA01 is a standard SITOP PSU100M unit. If your BOM originally called for the higher-current sibling 6EP1336-3BA00 (20 A), this 10 A version will not drop in without rewiring — the output terminals are the same, but the load must be within the 10 A continuous limit. For a panel designed around the 20 A unit, you would need to verify the total load current and possibly upsize the supply. Conversely, if your panel was specified for this 10 A unit, the 20 A version is physically larger and may not fit the same DIN-rail footprint without panel modifications.
