The Siemens 6EP1434-2BA20 is a SITOP PSU6200 series 24 V DC power supply rated for 10 A continuous output (12 A up to +45 °C, with derating 5 %/K from +60 to +70 °C). It accepts a 3-phase 400–500 V AC input at 47–63 Hz and delivers 91 % efficiency at full load. The unit snaps onto a DIN rail EN 60715 35×7.5/15 and is IP20 rated for enclosure mounting.
The 10 A rated output is the continuous current at 25 °C ambient. If your panel runs hotter than 45 °C, you need to derate: above 60 °C, subtract 5 % per Kelvin — at 65 °C that drops you to about 7.5 A. The 16 A maximum input current tells you the upstream breaker must be sized accordingly; Siemens specifies a 3-pole C-curve MCB 3–16 A or a 3RV2 motor-protective breaker as the feeder protection. Galvanic isolation is safety extra-low voltage (SELV) per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178, with transformer isolation per EN 61558-2-16. That means the output is safe to touch and suitable for supplying control circuits, PLCs, and sensors without additional isolation barriers.
This power supply carries cULus listing under UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1 (File E197259), plus cCSAus to UL 60950-1 and CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1. It also holds CE, EAC, C-Tick, and shipbuilding approvals from ABS and DNV GL. It is not rated for ATEX, IECEx, FM, or UL hazardous locations.
Input terminals:, L2, L3, PE — one screw terminal each, accepting 0.05–2.5 mm² single-core or finely stranded wire. Output terminals: + and -, two screw terminals each for 0.2–2.5 mm².
