40 A DC bus for control panels — where the rating lands
The 6EP1437-3BA00 delivers a rated 40 A at 24 VDC out of a three-phase 400…500 VAC input (50/60 Hz). That 40 A is continuous across the full 0…40 A range with natural convection up to +60 °C; above that it derates 2%/K to +70 °C, so at +65 °C the usable current drops to 36 A. For a control cabinet with multiple PLC racks, DC motor brakes, and solenoid banks, this supply covers the 24 V bus without oversizing.
DIN-rail fit and airflow clearance
Snaps directly onto DIN rail EN 60715 35×15 — no mounting plate or adapter. The bottom clearance is 50 mm and top clearance is 50 mm; left/right clearance is 0 mm, so adjacent devices can butt up against the sides. The 50 mm top gap is the critical airflow path for natural convection cooling — respect it in the layout or the derating curve shifts.

UL-Listed under UL 508 (File E197259) and CSA certified to C22.2 No. 14 and C22.2 No. 107.1.
