Mounting and input constraints
The 6EP1437-3BA10: Input is three-phase 400-500 V AC, 47-63 Hz, drawn through screw terminals accepting 0.2 to 4 mm² single-core or finely stranded wire (, L2, L3, PE). The feeder requires a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker 10-16 A, characteristic C, or a Siemens 3RV2011-1DA10 (set to 3 A) or 3RV2711-1DD10 (UL 489).
Output and derating
Rated output is 24 V DC at 40 A continuous, with a 92% efficiency at full load. Above +60 °C ambient, the unit derates 3.75 %/K — at +70 °C the available current drops to roughly 25 A. The output terminals accept 0.33 to 10 mm² wire; two screw terminals per polarity (+ and -) simplify load distribution. The galvanic isolation provides safety extra-low voltage (SELV) per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178, so the output is safe to touch and suitable for supplying control circuits directly.
