The Siemens 6EP1933-2EC41 is a DC UPS module that sits between a 24 V DC power supply and the load, providing ride-through during input voltage dips using internal capacitors. Rated for 15 A continuous and 25 A peak, it delivers 360 W typical at 24 V ±3 % output. Input range is 22…29 V DC. Startup delay is 0.6 s typical.
The 15 A rated current is the continuous load it can support in normal operation. The 25 A peak current handles short-term surges, like capacitor charging or motor inrush. The capacitor-based energy storage means no battery maintenance — it's a fit-and-forget solution for short buffer times.
Input uses two screw terminals for 1…4 mm² (17…11 AWG); output uses four screw terminals in the same range. The enclosure measures 120 mm wide, 125 mm deep, 125 mm high. Protection class IP20. Operating temperature is 0…60 °C with natural convection; storage and transport range is -40…+70 °C.
Status signaling and compliance
The module provides floating changeover contacts and LEDs for OK, buffer prewarning (80% of buffer time expired), and energy storage >85%. Contact capacity is DC 60 V / 1 A or AC 30 V / 1 A. EMC: EN 55022 Class B for emission, EN 61000-6-2 for immunity. MTBF at 40 °C is 638,570 h. The optional extension module is SITOP UPS501S.
