The Siemens 6EP1961-2BA41 is a SITOP buffer module that bridges brief mains dips by delivering a controlled DC voltage at its four outputs, calculated as Vin minus approximately 0.2 V. It accepts a 22 to 30 V DC input and holds the output stable during interruptions, switching off after roughly 5 seconds at 1.0 to 1.5 times the set current, or after a typical 100 ms under a current limitation of 1.5 times the set value. This makes it a fit for keeping control logic or DC bus-powered devices alive through short supply glitches.
Snaps onto DIN rail EN 60715 35x7.5/15, occupying a 72 mm wide enclosure that stands 80 mm tall and 72 mm deep. Input side uses screw terminals accepting 0.5 to 16 mm² for the +24 V and 0.5 to 4 mm² for the 0 V return; each of the four outputs gets its own screw terminal for 0.5 to 4 mm². A separate screw terminal handles the signaling contact, and another handles the remote reset input.
