Power supply for control panels
The Siemens 6EP3311-6SB00-0AY0 is a SITOP PSU8200 single-phase power supply delivering 24 V DC at 6.3 A rated output. Input accepts 85–264 V AC at 47–63 Hz, so it covers global line voltages without a tap change. The 6.3 A rating holds from 0 to +55 °C; above that derate 2% per K up to +70 °C — plan ventilation or spacing if the panel runs hot.
The 6.3 A continuous output is the current the supply can deliver indefinitely within its thermal envelope. That supports a typical 24 V DC bus feeding a handful of PLC cards, a small HMI, and a few sensors — but not a bank of solenoid valves or a motor starter. The internal fuse protection (3 A²·s I²t) means the supply clears its own faults without tripping the upstream miniature circuit breaker (recommended 10 A B-curve or 6 A C-curve). Galvanic isolation provides SELV output per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178, so the 24 V DC side is safe for touch and can feed control circuits without extra isolation transformers.
For a BOM-line commitment, the 6.3 A rating and DIN-rail footprint confirm fit for standard 24 V DC control buses. No direct second-source cross-reference is published, so substitution requires a parametric review of output current, isolation, and mounting.
