DIN Rail Power Supply – 20 A, SITOP Line
The 6EP3436-8SB00-2AY0: Snaps onto standard EN 60715 35×15 mm DIN rail with zero side clearance, 50 mm top and bottom for ventilation. Output rated 20 A with natural convection up to 60 °C ambient; above 50 °C derate 2.5%/K unless the CNX8600 expansion module is used (no derating with that module up to 240 W total load). Galvanic isolation to SELV per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178. Requires a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker 6–16 A characteristic C (or Siemens 3RV2011-1DA10, 3 A setting) in the feeder. Input plug-in terminal accepts 0.2–4 mm² single-wire or fine-stranded; output uses two screw connectors 0.2–4 mm².
Mounting & Derating
DIN rail clearance: 50 mm top, 50 mm bottom, zero on sides. Operating ambient -25 to +60 °C with natural convection; storage/transport -40 to +85 °C. Input voltage range 400–500 V AC (320–360 V and 530–575 V with derating), 47–63 Hz. Line frequency 50/60 Hz rated. PROFINET protocol onboard for integration into automation networks. Output specifications at rated input voltage and +25 °C unless otherwise noted. For loads above 50 °C ambient, apply derating curve or use expansion module CNX8600 to maintain full 20 A output. Keep inductive loads' free-wheel diode polarity correct to avoid damage to the output stage.
