The 6EP4134-3AB00-0AY0: The 10 A rated current is the continuous load the module can support while maintaining the output voltage at Vin - approx. 0.2 V. The 30 A peak handles inrush from downstream capacitive loads or short-duration motor starts — useful when the UPS is feeding a mixed load of contactors and small drives. Input voltage range is 21 to 29 V DC, so it accepts a standard 24 V supply with typical tolerance. The IP20 protection class means it is intended for clean, dry indoor panel environments; no washdown rating.
Signaling and battery management
The module provides three floating contacts for status: a changeover for normal operation (OK), a changeover for alarm (battery low or replacement needed), and a NO contact for battery charge above 85%. LED indicators on the front panel give immediate visual status — green for OK, yellow for buffered mode, red for alarm. The alarm contact also flashes at 0.25 Hz when battery replacement is required. Battery charging current is selectable between 0.1 A and 3 A, matching the capacity of the connected battery module. The unit is designed for use with external battery modules (type of energy storage: with batteries).
The module carries CE marking, UL approval (cULus-Listed to UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1, File E197259), CSA approval, EAC approval, C-Tick, and shipbuilding approvals from ABS and DNV GL. EMC compliance covers EN 55022 Class B for emissions and EN 61000-6-2 for immunity.
