Two analog inputs, 10 mm wide, current production
The Siemens 6ES7123-1FB00-0AB0 is a 2-channel analog input module for the S7-1200 family, accepting voltage signals from -10 V to +10 V and 1 V to 5 V. Resolution hits 13 bit on the ±10 V range and 12 bit on the 1–5 V range — enough for most process signals without oversampling. The 10 mm width means it eats one slot on the rail and leaves room for the rest of the I/O layout. Integration time is 60/50 ms (parameterizable in 4 stages via digital filtering), with a basic conversion time of 65/55 ms. That 50 dB crosstalk rejection at 50/60 Hz keeps the channels from bleeding into each other when the line frequency is dirty.

Panel fit and signal integrity
Occupies one slot out of eight on the S7-1200 rail. The usable terminal block is TB 16SC — order it separately if it is not already on the rack. Shielded cable runs up to 200 m; the module integrates the measurement, so the field wiring just lands on the screw terminals. Power draw is 30 mA from the 24 VDC supply rail, with reverse polarity protection built in. Power loss is 0.6 W typ — negligible heat in a crowded cabinet. Isolation tested at 1500 V AC between the channels and the backplane bus (optocoupler), but no channel-to-channel isolation, so common-mode voltage between inputs must stay within 2 V DC / 2 Vpp AC.
