Slim module, one-slot footprint
The 6ES7123-1JB00-0AB0: Width is just 10 mm, depth 51 mm, height 64 mm — one of the slimmest analog input modules for the S7-1200. Requires one slot from the eight available. The usable terminal block is TB 16SC, so wiring stays consistent across the rack. Power loss is only 0.6 W typical, and the module draws max 30 mA from the 24 V DC backplane supply. That leaves headroom for additional modules without recalculating the power budget.
Signal conditioning and filtering
Four-stage parameterizable digital filtering (none, low, medium, high) handles noisy environments. Integration time is selectable 50 or 60 ms; basic conversion time is 55 or 65 ms accordingly. Resolution is 14 bit at 0.1 °C/digit or 13 bit at 1.0 °C/digit, depending on conversion speed. Input impedance for K-type is 1 MΩ, measurement range up to 1 372 °C; for J-type up to 1 200 °C; for R-type up to 1 769 °C. Crosstalk between inputs is better than 50 dB at 50/60 Hz.
