The Siemens 6ES7131-6BF00-0DA0 is an 8-channel digital input module for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system, rated at 24 V DC. It integrates a 32-bit counter, oversampling, and isochronous mode — standard DI blocks don't carry these features. Input jitter stays at 5 µs, with a minimum resolution of 7.8125 µs. Counter and oversampling specifics
For machine vision or high-speed counting, the 32-bit counter supports gate start/stop, pulse extension, and parameterizable input delay lengths from 50 ms to 2 s. Oversampling mode delivers up to 32 bytes of input data per cycle. Maximum cable length is 50 m shielded or unshielded. Short-circuit protection is module-wise.
