The Siemens 6ES7131-6BF00-2AA0 is an ET 200SP digital input module delivering 8 channels of 24 V DC P-reading (sink) inputs. It occupies a single slot on a BU type A0 base unit, drawing 1.6 W typical at rated voltage. Module is equipped with diagnostics (I&M data 0 to 3, diagnostic alarm, green/red DIAG LED) and supports firmware updates.

Mounts on a BU A0 base unit; module width 15 mm, height 73 mm, depth 58 mm. Shielded cables up to 1 000 m, unshielded up to 600 m; isolation tested 707 V DC type test; max consumption 70 mA from encoder supply. Supports 2-wire sensor inputs with parameterizable signal evaluation. Signal "0" threshold –30 to +5 V, signal "1" +11 to +30 V; typical input current at "1" is 6.8 mA. Short-circuit protection present on the module supply side.
