2-byte input slice for ET 200SP, 15 mm
The Siemens 6ES7131-6BH01-2BA0 is a digital input module for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system, delivering two bytes of input data plus two bytes of quality information per channel. It operates at 24 V DC rated value, with signal thresholds accepting +11 to +30 V for logic 1 and -30 to +5 V for logic 0 — standard 24 V sourcing (PNP) sensor compatibility. The 15 mm width packs high density into the backplane; depth is 58 mm, height 73 mm, and the module mates with BU type A0 base units.
Parameterizable filtering and diagnostics
Input delay is adjustable from 0.05 ms to 20 ms (min and max), tunable per module via the controller — useful for matching encoder pulse width or suppressing contact bounce. The module supports per-channel diagnostic alarm and group error, plus I&M data for identification up to I&M3. Wire-break detection can be enabled module-by-module using an optional external resistor (25 kΩ to 45 kΩ) wired to the sensor; this avoids nuisance diagnostics on simple mechanical contacts. Power dissipation is 1.7 W typical.
