ET 200S output block – 2 DO, 0.5 A, diagnostics included
This 6ES7132-4BB00-0AB0 is a two-channel digital output module for the Siemens ET 200S distributed I/O family. Each output is rated 0.5 A at 24 V DC, supplied from the power module via the backplane bus. Channel-by-channel wire-break and short-circuit diagnostics are built in, with configurable enable/disable and a typical response threshold of 1.5 A for short-circuit detection. The standard output signal switches resistive loads up to 100 Hz and inductive loads up to 2 Hz; lamp loads are limited to 10 Hz. Turn-on time is 100 µs max, turn-off 400 µs max. For inductive loads, note the reverse voltage protection is effective when sharing the same load voltage as the power module.
Mechanical fit and bus considerations
The module occupies 15 mm of ET 200S rail width, 81 mm tall, 52 mm deep; a 3-byte remark is allocated per module, though the address space per module is max 1 byte. Isolation between channels and the backplane bus is tested to 500 V DC.
