Output module for ET 200S – what it fits

The 6ES7132-4BB31-0AA0 is a current-production ET 200S digital output slice. Two source outputs (PNP), each rated 2 A at 24 V DC, max 4 A per module. No diagnostics onboard – the green LED per channel is your only state indication. It's a clean, low-level valve and indicator driver for standard 24 V DC loads.

Panel fit – the 15 mm slot

Width 15 mm, depth 52 mm, height 81 mm. Cable reach: unshielded 600 m, shielded 1 000 m.

Switching performance and cable limits

Resistive load switching up to 100 Hz; inductive loads limited to 2 Hz with 0.5 H inductance – enough for small contactor coils. Short-circuit protection is built in, trip threshold typ 2.8 to 7.2 A. Response time: 0→1 in 200 µs, 1→0 in 1.3 ms. No inter-channel isolation, but output groups are isolated from the backplane bus (500 V DC test).
