4-channel PNP output slice for ET 200S
The Siemens 6ES7132-4BD32-0AA0 is a 4-channel digital output module for the ET 200S distributed I/O system, delivering 2 A per channel from a PNP source output at 24 V DC supplied by the power module. At 15 mm wide, it packs four 2 A outputs into a single slice position, which matters when you are filling a DIN rail with mixed I/O and every millimeter of panel space is allocated.
Switching speed and load handling
Resistive loads switch at up to 1000 Hz, with a typical turn-on delay of 45 µs and turn-off at 90 µs — fast enough for high-speed indexing or pick-and-place solenoids running on a fast backplane cycle. Inductive loads up to 0.5 H switch at 2 Hz max; the module includes short-circuit protection and a response threshold between 2.8 A and 7.2 A, so a welded contactor coil or a chafed cable downstream trips the channel without taking out the backplane fuse.
