The Siemens 6ES7132-4HB13-0AB0 relay output module for ET 200S is a current-production component, qualifiable and traceable within the SIMATIC DP system. Galvanic isolation between channels and to the backplane bus supports channel-to-channel separation requirements. On CPU/Master stop, the module can either substitute a configured value (0 or 1) or keep the last value, providing a deterministic fail-state for qualification protocols.
Sourcing and Protective Documentation
No internal short-circuit protection is provided; the relay outputs must be fused externally with 6 A. The fuse selection and removal tool must be documented per site safety procedures, especially in hazardous locations per NEC.
