DQ module for ET 200SP — 15 mm slice, 8 A total
The Siemens 6ES7132-6BH01-0BA0 is a digital output module for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system. It provides DQ (digital output) channels with current-sourcing outputs at 24 V DC, rated for a total of 8 A at 30 °C and derated to 4 A at 50–60 °C. The module occupies a single 15 mm-wide slice, fitting into the same BU type A0 base unit used for 2-, 3-, or 4-wire connections with an optional potential distributor module.
Output current derating by ambient temperature
The total output current is temperature-dependent: 8 A up to 30 °C, 6 A up to 40 °C, and 4 A up to 50–60 °C. The module draws 1 W typical power loss. Switching times are 50 µs from 0 to 1 and 100 µs from 1 to 0, with a maximum lamp load switching frequency of 10 Hz.
Diagnostics and wiring diagnostics
The module supports module-wise wire-break detection (lower limit 48 Ω, upper limit 12 kΩ) and short-circuit detection to M and L+. Diagnostic alarms and group error reporting are included. I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3) is supported for asset identification. Shielded cable runs up to 1 000 m, unshielded up to 600 m.
