The Siemens 6ES7132-6FD00-0CU0 is a current-production ET 200SP digital output module. It delivers 8 current-sourcing outputs (DQ) rated for 24 V AC to 230 V AC, each switched via phase control with a control range of 8.5% to 100% of the phase angle. The module is 20 mm wide and mounts on a BU type U0 base unit, which handles the 1-wire, 2-wire, or 3-wire connection scheme depending on the potential distributor.
Derating and thermal limits
Output current is temperature-dependent: 8 A per channel up to 30 °C, 6 A up to 40 °C, and 4 A up to 50 °C. For a 50 °C panel, figure 4 A maximum per output — no headroom for parallel tie unless you respect the package dissipation of 9 W typ at full load on 230 V AC. Unshielded cable runs up to 600 m; shielded max 1 000 m. Wire-break detection and diagnostic alarm are built in.
Sourcing and compatibility
For a BOM freeze, this is a stable line. No PCN or LTB activity. Firmware updates are supported, and the module carries I&M data 0 through 3 for asset tracking.
