The Siemens 6ES7133-0BN11-0XB0 is a current-production ET 200S digital input/output module with 24 inputs and 8 outputs, all at 24 V DC. It handles up to 2 A per output at 60 °C ambient, with an electronic short-circuit protection that limits let-through energy to 0.05 A²·s (I²t) — a number you'll want for sizing the DC supply and the wire protection on the 8 output channels.
Outputs and protection
Each of the 8 digital outputs switches 2 A resistive load at 100 Hz max, or 0.5 Hz with inductive loads. The 2 A is derated from the module's max power loss of 5.5 W; if the panel pushes 60 °C or you install the module vertically, the horizontal rating drops to 40 °C. The I²t of 0.05 A²·s with starting current inrush tells you the thermal stress during a short — fuse the output group accordingly. The red BF (bus fault) LED and green RUN LED are on the front. Input response from '0' to '1' is 20 µs; '1' to '0' is 0.5 ms — fast enough for counters but not for high-speed pulse trains. If you need synchronous gating, wire the SYNC input on the terminal block.
