The Siemens 6ES7134-6FB00-0BA1 is an ET 200SP analog input module with two channels configurable for rated voltage ranges 0 to +10 V, 1 to 5 V, -5 to +5 V, or -10 to +10 V, each at 15 or 16 bit resolution including sign for bipolar ranges. It mounts on base unit type A0 or A1 for 1-wire or 2-wire connection, with automatic encoding for correct hardware identification. Diagnostics include per-channel green LED status, a green/red DIAG LED for module health, and software-configurable diagnostic alarms; short-circuit detection is available on the 1 to 5 V range. The module supports I&M data 0 to 3 for asset tracking and is firmware-updatable via the backplane bus.
What the ratings mean for your selection
With a typical power loss of 0.9 W and a width of 15 mm, the module fits densely on the ET 200SP rail without exceeding rack thermal budgets. The sigma-delta measurement principle and isolation tested at 707 V DC (type test) suit the module for industrial environments where noise rejection and galvanic isolation are required. Step-response times are configurable from 1× cycle time (fast) through 16× cycle time (higher noise filtering), letting you trade speed for accuracy per channel. Oversampling and isochronous mode are not supported; for high-speed synchronous acquisition, consider a different module in the ET 200SP portfolio.
