What the 6ES7134-6HB00-0CA1 brings to your I/O rack
The 6ES7134-6HB00-0CA1 is a Siemens ET 200SP analog input module with 24 V backplane supply and MSI (Module Startup Information) that speeds commissioning by auto-identifying the module and its parameters in TIA Portal. At 15 mm wide it occupies just one slice on the DIN rail, but packs four analog inputs configurable between voltage (0–10 V, ±10 V, 1–5 V, ±5 V) or current (0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, ±20 mA), each with 15-bit (unipolar) or 16-bit (bipolar plus sign) resolution. Sigma-delta measurement with integration times from 0.625 ms to 67.5 ms lets you trade cycle speed against noise rejection. The module supports isochronous mode for deterministic data exchange with jitter max 5 µs — essential if the input feeds a motion or high-speed logic loop.
Diagnostics and commissioning details
Wire-break detection is active only on the 4–20 mA range — if you use 0–20 mA or voltage, plan external continuity checks. Short-circuit monitoring works channel-by-channel for 1–5 V or the encoder supply output. Diagnostic and limit-value alarms can trigger group error on the backplane bus, so a single fault flags the whole station while you pinpoint the channel via TIA Portal. The module supports I&M data (I&M0 through I&M3) and firmware update over the backplane. It is parameterizable per channel. Maximum shielded cable length is 1 000 m (200 m for voltage inputs). Output current for a 4-wire transmitter supply is 100 mA continuous, with a 150 mA peak for under 10 seconds. Rated power loss is 0.95 W typ (without sensor load). The isolation test is at 707 V DC (type test), which is typical for ET 200SP but worth noting if you are adjacent to high-voltage sections.
