Diagnostics that save a night shift
The 6ES7134-6HD00-2BA1: Wire-break detection kicks in on the 4 to 20 mA range, and short-circuit protection covers both 1 to 5 V inputs and the encoder supply in 2-wire mode. Group error and diagnostic alarms are standard, so the line PLC gets a clean fault message — no blind fuse-a-thon. The module also reports overflow/underflow and per-channel status via green LEDs. These are the features that tell you whether the sensor died or the wire got cut without dragging a meter out.

Width 15 mm, depth 58 mm, height 73 mm. Shielded cable length max is 1 000 m for current loops, 200 m for voltage measurement.
