Sensor coverage and resolution
The 6ES7134-6JD00-2CA1 is an ET 200SP analog input module that accepts a wide range of temperature sensors and low-level signals: Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000, thermocouple types B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, U, plus resistance ranges from 0 to 150 ohms up to 0 to 6000 ohms, and a ±1 V DC voltage range. Resolution is 15 bits for PTC and resistance ranges, and 16 bits including sign for all RTDs, thermocouples, and the mV range. Channel-by-channel wire-break detection and a group error output are built in, so a single module can mix sensor types and still flag a failed open-loop sensor without external diagnostics.
The module is 15 mm wide, 73 mm high, and 58 mm deep — it occupies one slot in the ET 200SP base unit (BU type A0). The shielded cable length is 200 m for RTDs and resistance sensors, derated to 50 m for thermocouples. I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3) is supported, allowing the module to be identified and inventoried automatically by TIA Portal or an asset management system — useful for audit trails in a tender or framework contract.
