The 6ES7135-0HF01-0XB0 is a current-production Siemens ET 200M analog output module with four individually configurable channels. Each channel can source 0 to 10 V, 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, or -10 V to +10 V, covering the standard industrial signal ranges for driving valves, VFD speed references, and chart recorders. It communicates over PROFIBUS DP at up to 12 Mbit/s, which sets the bus cycle time floor for the remote rack. The 1 ms conversion time per channel means a four-channel update takes 4 ms — budget this into the control loop if the outputs are part of a fast-acting cascade.
Supply and load constraints for the commissioning engineer
Rated 24 VDC with a permissible range of 18.5 V to 30.2 V; the module draws 200 mA from the logic supply. The 24 V rail must hold above 18.5 V even under transient load — a sagging supply will drop the analog outputs out of specification before the logic faults. For current outputs, the maximum load is 300 Ω; for voltage outputs, the module drives two-wire or four-wire connections. The no-load voltage on current outputs is capped at 18 V, so the loop power is limited to passive transmitters — active loop-powered devices need a separate supply. Crosstalk between adjacent outputs is at least 40 dB — adequate for most process signals but worth noting if two channels share a common return and one swings rail-to-rail while the other is at 1 % of span.
