Integration into an ET 200S station
The 6ES7135-4LB02-0AB0: Width is 15 mm, depth 52 mm, height 81 mm — fits one slot in any ET 200S interface module. The module draws max. 10 mA from the backplane bus and max. 80 mA from load voltage L+. Reverse polarity protection on L+ is built in. Analog outputs are voltage only. For a two-wire or four-wire voltage connection, the module supplies a max. 25 mA short-circuit current with short-circuit protection. Minimum load resistance for a voltage output is 1 kΩ. Cycle time (all channels) is 0.5 ms at max. 0.5 µF load capacitance. This is the settling time for the D/A conversion — not the PROFIBUS cycle. For applications requiring deterministic timing, the module supports isochronous mode.
Diagnostics and setpoints
Group diagnostics, short-circuit diagnostics, and diagnostic interrupt are configurable (disable/enable per channel). The module reports a group error (SF LED) and individual channel diagnostics via the backplane bus. Diagnostic information is readable. On CPU/master STOP, the outputs can be set to output current and de-energized, substitute a value, or keep last value — configurable in the hardware configuration. This is standard for ET 200S analog modules; verify the setting matches the safety logic of the plant. Address space per module is 4 bytes (2 channels, 2 bytes each). Remark field shows 7 bytes — but the address space per module is listed as 4 bytes. This discrepancy likely includes the diagnostic and configuration bytes; for the analog value itself, expect 2 words per channel.
